FORCEY’S TOWER

This is a bell tower, commissioned by the Cape Farewell Foundation, in response to a climate change/farming brief, in the Sydling Valley, close to Sydling St Nicholas, Dorset. Please refer to News Page for more information.
Date: 2013/2014 
Size: 5.2 metres high x 2 metres diameter at ground level.
Materials: Laminated larch semicircular beams, clad in Western Red cedar and a hat, standing on galvanised steel legs, each concreted 600mm under the ground. Contains a bronze bell.
